Annapolis Mediation offers

Divorce Mediation

Mediation has come to the forefront of legal services over the past twenty years.  In that time many styles of Mediation have been tried and practiced.  Dave Simison practices what is known as Facilitative Mediation.  In Facilitative Mediation, the Mediator guides the participants through the mediation process often raising topics for conversation that, from prior experience, the Mediator has encountered.  It is his intention to remain impartial and neutral.  The outcome of the mediation is controlled wholly by the parties and while in his practice he may raise topics to discuss he will not suggest solutions unless requested by the parties.  His philosophy leaves the parties in control of the terms of agreement.

Dave Simison is one of a limited number of mediators nationwide whose mediation practices have been observed and qualified him for Certification by the Maryland Council for Dispute Resolution.
